In 2024, we will have achieved a lot in the center again. We would like to mention a number of impressive numbers with which we show that we can reach many families in Tanzania with the programs. 

3 Month program:

• 122 children followed the 3-month program with their mothers  at the Sibusiso Center

• 690 children received some form of (short) therapy at the Sibusiso Center

• 113 children followed a shortened program with their mother (1-2 weeks)

6 Month program:

• 64 children and young adults participated in the 6-month program and stayed at the Sibusiso Center.

• 212 children and young adults received some form of training at the Sibusiso Centre, during the year but stayed at home

   

Nutrition program:

• 941 children received the feeding program at home

• 342 children received the nutrition program at the center (1-2 weeks)

Provision of tools by our carpentry workshop:

• 17 wheelchairs

• 35 walkers

• 19 Staff Medals

• 10 AFO braces

• 31 special chairs

• 8 corner chairs

Outreach programma:

• 337 children received therapy at home from one of the therapists or social worker 

• 126 children and young adults were visited at their own school for consultation with the teachers

• 453 children were visited at home for contact with parents, without therapy

Connection and awareness events:

• World Disability Day 809 visitors

• Graduation Ceremonies 3 months program/open days 1,992 visitors

• Celebral Palsy Day 158 visitors
